Grant Readiness & Proposal Writing Certificate

Grants are not won by writing. They are won by readiness — documents in order, numbers clean, story proven — with a good proposal attached. This certificate builds the readiness first, then teaches the craft on top of it.

The Institute’s Five-Day Grant Ready Challenge is the front door; this certificate is the deep version, with the credential.

The certificate in three numbers

~40 hours · ~10 weeks

About 4 hours a week at the printed pace — working real opportunities, on real deadlines.

317 listings · 73 databases

The Institute’s verified grant library — 317 curated listings and 73 source databases, including SAM.gov’s 2,200+ federal programs — is worked inside Course 2. Those are the honest numbers, and they are enough.

The promise is readiness and craft, stated plainly. Funding decisions belong to funders; preparation belongs to you — and it is the only part that was ever yours to control.

Khloe, your guide through the Institute's courses

Your guide through the program

Khloe fronts every course in the stack

Open the program and the first face you see is Khloe's. She welcomes you in, walks you through how the program runs, and opens each course with a study-guide briefing — what it covers, what students trip on, and what to do next.

Khloe opens the program by scoring the difference between chasing and readiness — and her briefings keep the order in front of you: ready first, written second, funded third.

The stack

Four courses, one credential

Readiness before research, research before writing, writing before celebration — the order is the strategy.

The Gate — Readiness Review + Capstone

Write a complete, submission-shaped proposal for a real open opportunity — narrative, outcomes, evaluation, and budget — graded against the program’s rubric the way a reviewer’s scoresheet would grade it.

  • Certificate Readiness Review — 25 questions at 80%
  • No capstone, no certificate — the artifact is the proof

How the certificate is earned

Small gates, honestly set — then one real artifact

  • Quick Checks — five questions at the end of every lesson cluster; four of five to move on. Miss it, review, retake — no drama, and no surprises saved up for the end.
  • Course Checks — ten questions at 80% at the end of every course in the stack.
  • Certificate Readiness Review — 25 questions at 80%, across the whole stack, before the capstone counts.
  • The capstone artifact — you write a complete proposal for a real open opportunity, budget included. Graded against the program's published checklist. It is the proof the certificate stands on.

This is a WBI certificate of completion in grant readiness and proposal writing. It certifies readiness and craft. It is not a promise of funding — no honest program can make that promise, and this one will not.

After the certificate

Your next door: the library stays open

The closing lesson walks the graduate’s doors: the Grant Library membership ($97 activation, then $27/month — the living database that keeps refreshing after the course ends), the challenge cohorts, and done-for-you grant services for organizations that would rather hire the work done.
